SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

In order to participate in the Police Escorted Ride to Caribou and receive the commemorative challenge coin at the end of the ride, you must sign a ride release form at any ONE of the dealers listed below on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Once you sign this release form you will receive a special ride wristband. You only have to sign a release form once at the dealer where you choose to begin the ride. You must arrive at least one hour prior to the departure time listed for the dealer where you will be joining the ride so you will be able to leave at the scheduled time. You must keep the wristband on until a rally staff member cuts it off and gives you the challenge coin at either the dinner after the ride at the VFW Hall or at the Volunteer Booth on Friday or Saturday – this offer is not available to those who do not sign up and participate in the Police Escorted Ride to the Rally.

For your shopping and eating pleasures Big Moose Harley-Davidson in Portland will be opening at 6:00 am and providing Breakfast. The perfect start to what is possibly the longest Progressive Dinner Ride you will ever be on! Thank you Big Moose Harley-Davidson.

Departure will be at 7:30 am sharp. Please be sure to arrive one hour prior to assure time to sign the ride release form and get your special ride wristband.

Couldn’t get up early enough to start in Portland? Don’t worry, L-A Harley in Lewiston will be opening at 8:00 am and providing breakfast and shopping. Thank you for stopping by, enjoy the Rally. Thank you L-A Harley.

Departure will be at 9:15 am sharp. Please be sure to arrive one hour prior to assure time to sign the ride release form and get your special ride wristband.

North Country Harley in Augusta, the state Capital, is our next stop. Here we will be treated to snacks and beverages. Thank you for visiting us, please come again. Thank you North Country Harley-Davidson.

Departure will be at 11:00 am sharp. Please be sure to arrive one hour prior to assure time to sign the ride release form and get your special ride wristband.

Ready for lunch? Central Maine Harley-Davidson in Bangor is our host for this stop. A BBQ and music is on the menu. Thank you Central Maine Harley-Davidson. (Gas is located close by in case you need to fuel up.)

Departure will be at 1:30 pm sharp. Please be sure to arrive one hour prior to assure time to sign the ride release form and get your special ride wristband.

Break for gas and a stretch before the last leg of this epic ride to Caribou! No riders can sign up at this stop.

This is the last leg of the Police Escorted Ride. All ride participants must have on the special wristband they received at one of the Harley-Davidson dealerships listed for this ride.

After our longest part of the ride, we arrive in Caribou, our destination. Here we have a spaghetti dinner plus H.O.G./Harley-Davidson birthday cake waiting for us. The perfect way to end what was probably the longest Progressive Dinner Ride you’ve ever been on! Thank you Plourde's Harley-Davidson. For ride participants/ rally attendees A special challenge coin commemorating your ride, the Rally and the H.O.G. and Harley-Davidson anniversaries will also be given out, but only to those who have on the special wristband that proves you went on the police-escorted ride. In recognition of the H.O.G. and Harley-Davidson anniversaries, bring a personal, non-returnable, family-friendly photo for posting on the Memory Board that you feel shows what H.O.G. and Harley-Davidson are all about. One photo will be chosen as the winner with the submitter receiving a special prize. Submit your photo to the Information Booth on Friday and Saturday.

The Maine State H.O.G. Rally has always been grateful to those in uniform who serve and have served our country so we can live and ride free. For the past few years, the Rally has presented H.O.G. Welcome Banners to specific active duty military members to let them know how much we care about what they do for us and our country. The Rally again this year will have these banners available for Rally attendees to sign and send a message to our troops. Be sure to stop by and say thank you to our troops by signing these banners. It takes just a few minutes to pass on your personal thanks to those willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, and lets them see we really do care and understand that freedom isn’t free.
